Clandestinement vôtre -

As part of his application for a residence permit, a young illegal immigrant is summoned to take a French test. Stung into action, he responded to the administration by sending this book that you are holding in your hands. A novel in a style both eloquent and blunt: the story of his arrival in France. Secretly Yours doesn't speak of colonisation or skin colour but you will enjoy the biting humour of a young man who dreams of leaving Cameroun to study Political Science in France. You will follow him on his French adventures, working hard to survive, using his intelligence, sometimes his charm too, to give life to his ambition: to return one day to his country and lead a revolution.

No room for taboos with Charles-Cédric. The only thing that matters is life, the memories, the here and now, love, happiness. Sincerity. The book is fiction inspired by his life, to which some tall tales were added of which writers know the secret. That's how they approach reality.
