Eleanor Haspel-Portner, PhD, earned her doctorate from the University of Chicago and has additional training as a Jungian analyst, sex therapist, hypnotherapist, and psychic. After postdoctoral clinical training at Rush-Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, she taught college for three years.
Haspel-Portner has been a clinical psychologist in private practice since 1974. In 1996, she was introduced to-and asked to scientifically validate-the Human Design System. Having expanded the system into a comprehensive model, she decided to introduce her results to the world in Cosmic Secrets. Also the author of Marriage in Trouble: A Time of Decision Astrology Essentials and Second-Degree Reiki: A Workbook, Haspel-Portner continues to use her work to bridge the gap between psychology and consciousness in order to inspire others to discover their authentic selves.
She and her husband, Marvin Portner, MD, currently live in Pacific Palisades, California.
