As a proven high-capacity leader of multiple large and influential ministry organizations, Ronnie Floyd is known as a leader of leaders. His personal and communication skills help create unity around a common purpose and strategic vision, and he is passionately committed to investing in, inspiring, and influencing leaders who will change the world.

Floyd is the founder of the Summit, a weekly luncheon in northwest Arkansas that has had an attendance of over one hundred thousand business leaders since its inception in the fall of 2001.

For over thirty-two years, he served as the senior pastor of Cross Church in northwest Arkansas. In his tenure, the church exploded in growth and became a large multicampus church with over twenty thousand members. With three major campuses in the region, the church is still impacting major corporations that have their global headquarters in the region: Walmart, J. B. Hunt, Tyson Foods, and the University of Arkansas.

As a speaker, author, and former president of the National Day of Prayer Task Force, he has led across denominations and ministries. Floyd was elected to serve as the president of the Southern Baptist Convention from 2014 to 2016. Then, from the spring of 2019 through 2021, Floyd served as the president and CEO of the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee. Today he continues to speak, write, consult organizations, and coach leaders.

Floyd holds degrees from Howard Payne University and the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He received a distinguished alumnus award from each of these educational institutions.
