Lopez, Josie: - Josie Lopez is an independent art historian and curator. She has published widely and curated numerous exhibitions on art and activism, photography, printmaking, New Mexican art, and Chicana/o art. Lopez was a contributor to the Whitney Museum of American Art exhibition catalog Jaune Quick-to-See Smith: Memory Map. She is the coauthor and cocurator of Broken Boxes: A Decade of Art, Action, and Dialogue. Lopez has served as the head curator at the Albuquerque Museum and has organized numerous exhibitions and catalogs including Danny Lyon: Journey West, The Printer's Proof, The Carved Line: History of Block Printmaking in New Mexico, and many more.
