Annes Nel was born in Lambertsbaai, South Africa. He was ordained as a minister in 1985 and served in two congregations before becoming a senior lecturer and later an associate professor at two universities in Namibia and South Africa. Since 2007, he has been working for the Presbyterian Church in Ireland and has been a lecturer in Systematic and Practical Theology at a training center for ministers and Christian leaders since 2019. His passion is to equip people as disciples of Jesus Christ and to help them understand the basics of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
