Curious, headstrong Tori and gentle, trusting Quentin are inseparable: playing board games, sleeping over at each other's houses, and riding bikes around their quiet town. But their blissful childhood can't last forever and their lives gradually begin to shift. As their worlds open up, these two normal and imperfect kids make mistakes, struggle with change, and come to terms with life.

Quentin and Tori struggle with mental health, sexual orientation, independence, social acceptance, and loss that most young adults will recognize in themselves and the world around them.
