The Pauline epistles of 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, and Titus are called Pastoral Epistles because they consist of instructions given chiefly to the young pastors Timothy and Titus. The Apostle Paul was a spiritual father to Timothy and Titus, as well as others who were born again under his ministry. "For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel" (1 Cor. 4:15). The need for genuine spiritual fathers is as great today as it was during the early Church period. Many young ministers and laymen alike are looking for leadership examples to follow, as it is only natural to do. As an experienced pastor, evangelist, and teacher, Dr. Richards continues to pour into the lives of God's people, at Rivers of Living Water Ministries in Elkins, West Virginia where he is Associate Pastor. He also enjoys teaching theological classes at Victory Family Church in Cranberry, Pennsylvania. Dr. Richards is a graduate of Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He received his Th.M. and Ph.D. in theology from Life Christian University in Tampa, Florida.
