These records herein deal primarily with the Revolutionary War in the Upper Country of South Carolina and Dr. Logan lists among other things: members of various Revolutionary Regiments, leaders and officers in the Revolution; detailed descriptions of skirmishes and battles, etc. Also he gives histories of a number of families in this Upper part of South Carolina, which having been written during the Revolution, carry families back to the 1700's. A new complete full-name index has been prepared for this edition.
