"Journey to the Promised Land" is a story of disobedience, forgiveness and second chances.

With a strong desire to be married and have children by the age of 25, Omesha G. makes a covenant with disobedience as a way of making it happen on her own. She didn't trust God to fulfill his Promise. So, she got married to someone that she knew was outside of God's will for her life in hopes that God would bless her marriage anyway.

Instead, Omesha has had to face the consequences of her mistakes. Throughout her unholy union, she is met with continuous verbal abuse that was present prior to the marriage along with infertility and two miscarriages after a long trial of struggling to conceive. Once fed up with what has become her marriage, she decides to separate from her husband. Afterwards, she is met with another series of unfortunate events where she suddenly becomes a widow less than tow months before the finalization of her divorce.

On the other side if grief and transition, Omesha is at peace and excited about her new found freedom. Anxiously waiting for her second chance at love and motherhood, she continues to be open to dating with patience while waiting for God to fulfill His promise. All the while, growing closer to God.
