Mr. Ykema served as a leader throughout his life, in his family, in the churches and Christian ministries of which he was a part, and in his professional endeavors. His experience includes 63 years as a registered professional engineer, working in the electrical engineering industry and in related national organizations. He also served on the boards of two churches, a Christian school, and a theological seminary, including many years as chairman of each. Through these experiences and personal study of Scripture, he is well-equipped to address the Biblical precepts regarding leadership.
