Life Goes On

Emma Reese is a journalist whose big story results in the arrest of city officials in St. Petersburg, FL. Emma is also juggling the care of her father, Joe, who suffered a stroke and helping her brother, James, get his new restaurant off the ground. Emma's boss asks her to fill in and cover sports when their own St. Pete Sharks make it into the World Series and she must interview Andy Anderson, the team's star pitcher with a big ego. When fate throws them back together, Emma gets to know the real Andy who explains his dysfunctional upbringing left him without family support. Andy gravitates to the love and stability Emma provides.

When Andy suffers a career ending injury, he is left with life changing choices. Baseball was all Andy knew and leans on his love of music to get him through. Emma inspires him to find a new way forward and falls in love. When Emma is offered a job in Atlanta, she must decided what is most important to her. Will Emma be able to put her trust in Andy completely? Is Emma enough to fill the void in Andy's life that was once filled only by baseball?
