Little Maurice's Visit to the Hospital

This story is about a little Caribbean boy named Maurice. Little Maurice on a bright sunny day went through an unexpected day. His day starts by waking up to his favourite breakfast, then an eventful and memorable journey to his friend Elijah's house. Then suddenly, he was taken in an unexpected direction. Maurice went to a new and unfamiliar place where many people do not like to go, the hospital. There, he saw something that made him feel sad and lost. He had to learn how to deal with what he saw at the hospital.

This story is to help children at an early age to deal with grief, an abstract concept, challenging children's out of sight, out of mind mentality.
