Little Penguin's Tale

Seven little penguins snuggle together in a cozy huddle as their Grand Nanny Penguin tells them a story of long ago. "Once there was a little penguin just like you," she begins. "Just like you--except he didn't listen to his Grand Nanny's tales." But wait! One of the seven little penguins isn't listening now, either. Full-color illustrations.
Just as in the story that Grand Nanny Penguin is telling, Little Penguin slides down hills, dances with wild, silly, goony birds, and almost gets eaten by a whale. "The deep greens, bright yellows, and glacial blues depict a northern world of fun and frolic that is warm and appealing."--Booklist
