Long Shots: My story of unexpected, people, places, and adventures

A powerful family of love, safety, stability, and super role models influenced Dennis D Behrens' life. He has had so many experiences and been enabled to do so many things. He lived many lives, from growing up in Santa Paula, California, to living and working on farms in Iowa, to competitive rifle and shotgun shooting, and hunting all over the world. I had a wonderful and rewarding Air Force career. He led Modern Pentathlon teams; traveled in many lands and shoots in the National Shooting Championships at Camp Perry. He belonged to the Masons, the Bunker Club, the Grand National Quail Club, and the California Indians, expanded his circle of friends and broadened his perspective. This is not just a story of accomplishments; rather it is accumulated memories of the dozens and dozens of wonderful friends who guided and propelled him on his life's journey.
