Lyres, Legends, and Lullabies: An Annotated Score Collection

"Where words fail, music speaks."

We read stories to let our imaginations run wild-but have you ever wished there was just a little more?

While reading that epic battle, did you wish you could hear the drums? When a mother is singing a lullaby to her child, have you yearned to hear her voice? At the moment the main character emerges victorious, what if their theme was swelling in the background?

What if you could not only read a book-but hear its music?

In this one-of-a-kind collection, author and composer R. L. Davennor takes you on an unprecedented journey to lands far beyond our own. From the forests of Arakunia to the high seas of Khovaa, experience firsthand the music of their worlds from a unique and intimate perspective. Each score comes accompanied with annotations written by the composer, with many also printed alongside fiction excerpts that inspired the music. Listen as you read with links to each individual composition and a playlist to hear them all at once.

With more than 30 full scores amounting to over two hours of music, whether you're searching for a ballad, a shanty, a love song, or something purely instrumental, there is a piece for every mood and instrumentation: from solo piano all the way to a full symphony orchestra.

Summon your dragon, don your cloak, and escape to the fantasy realm of Lyres, Legends, and Lullabies.

Please be aware the fictional prose contains adult language and themes, and that reader discretion is advised.
