Octoboy & The Grilles: Kids Say The Darndest Things for the Digital Age

In 2009, at the tender age of 51, I was thrust into a new phase of my life, "Papa Hood". Now I'm a singer - songwriter, a rock n roll kind of guy and there was no way that I was going to be called "grampa". In fact, I would have preferred to just be called "Pete", but Papa is what we finally settled on.

For some unknown reason, I've always given the kids nick names. I have four beautiful daughters: Pam (Charles), Jill (Willie), Jessica (Bob) and Stephanie (Stevers). I have five granddaughters: Rosie (Bratface), Mary Kay (Blondie), Kaiya (Pudgers), Gracie (Grayson), and Eve (Pudgesickle). And I also have one Grandson, Norbie aka Octoboy.
