Okefenokee Tales: The Okefenokee is one of the world's great wonders and is filled with mystery.

This is a compilation of articles and writings about the beautiful and wild Okefenokee Swamp of Georgia. I wrote and published these online for a couple of sites. They are now offline and found only in this book. In Okefenokee Tales you will discover "snapshots" of what it was like for my father to spent a part of his childhood along the edges of the swamp. There are also writings about my experiences in the swamp as a boat guide. I hope that as you read of the swamp, you will be encouraged to go canoeing and camping there. It is a wonderful place where many find peace of mind, where authors and artists find inspiration, and others find rest away from the busy world they live in.
