One Way Please

Bosporus, Istanbul, 1976. Adem Bayer, a teenage university student, dreams of emigrating to America. He deals with a murderous thug, a broken heart, and academic troubles. With little money and no knowhow, but with plenty of danger and a brutal political conflict, how could he achieve his dream?

Adem wonders whether life is just a series of random events or there is a formula. If there is a formula for life, an equation for living, can he find it? If he finds the formula, maybe he could use it to make the right choices and decisions. Maybe he could use it to escape the bullets of the murderous thug and get to America. If he gets to America, maybe he could use the formula to learn English and survive. But what if he can't find the formula?
