L. E. Hewitt was diagnosed with Young-onset Parkinson's disease at the age of fifty-two. Through his folksy conversational style, he shares the steps he has taken to battle this disease and how his life has become more fulfilling as a result.

Since most Parkinson's books are written by medical experts, it was important for Hewitt, a lay person, to write this book for others with Parkinson's and their caregivers.
