Kramer, Katy: - The dearth of information about the prison, not far from her home, has kept author Katy Kramer researching for over a decade. Currently freelancing and teaching college composition, she has written features for magazines, university publications, and local newspapers. Photographs have primarily been gathered from special collections, libraries, and museums.
