Power of Blood and Crowns

Prince Elijah Velmarren was just a child when he was brutally turned into a vampire. Now he lives in the heart of a kingdom where magic is outlawed and magical beings, the Elnarhyte, are hunted and killed. Elijah has spent twelve long years hiding his monstrous secret from everyone...including his father and brother. With the help of an Enchantress and his artistic passion, he just barely keeps his cravings in check while wrestling with self-loathing when he accidentally kills someone very special to him. But he fears the day he'll be forced to ascend the throne to a kingdom that would execute him if they knew his secret. One day, he's kidnapped and wakes up chained in a dark room, faced by a group of strangers who mysteriously know his secret and question him about what kind of king he plans to become. But the interrogation is cut short by war crashing through the walls, and he is forced to run. But in the chaos, Elijah discovers the truth: his captors are Elnarhyte, outlawed by the Seven Kingdoms, and the only people who could understand what it means to hide their true magical nature. When Elijah returns to the mysterious House they reside in, he's overwhelmed by the beautiful city hidden within. Alliances are created, and they must find a way to free each other from the kingdoms' grasp and confront Isagore, the vampire that turned Elijah and haunted his dreams all these years. Soon, Elijah's quest for freedom of the crown drives him to rely on his dark nature, as Isagore seeks to destroy any ounce of humanity left inside of him in this villain origin story.
