Power of the Dark Realm

Fleeing from their dying planets, the Vulans and Gentars have formed an uneasy alliance in the hopes of finding new terrestrial homes. One hundred and fifty light-years into their search, a mutiny breaks out and threatens to end in a bloody takeover.

After a violent attack, the enchanting Gentar, Maritou, is pulled from her peaceful life of scientific discoveries and thrust into a world of intrigue and conflict. She must take on a new role as chief investigator in the effort to uncover the identities of the conspirators and find their stronghold.

At the same time, Maritou has been called upon to help design rescue plans to free her best friend, Rena, who is held captive back on the home planet of Hogar. And the success of obtaining Rena's freedom may spell the end of everything Maritou holds dear, the love of Gar, the man that she has cherished for the last 300 years.

Fighting spells of anxiety, Maritou must draw on all of her mental and emotional strength as she endeavors to maintain the peace and save the mission. Her life becomes a precarious ballet where there is no rehearsal.
