His writings critically assess the role of European intellectual history in advancing anti-democratic concepts. He explains how real democracy is based on an ethical concept derived from an expanded golden rule. He has a Ph.D. in philosophy from Yale University, a law degree from the University of California (Berkeley Law), and a bachelors degree in mathematics from the University of Kansas. He is a retired healthcare lawyer and a former professor of philosophy.
