Psychosis of Sanity

This book is a collection of poems that reflect some of my deepest thoughts and fears. Each poem is a window into some of the most difficult times in my life and how those hardships affect me in my day to day life as a student, a mother, a dreamer, and a struggler. My goal for this collection is to express my "daily contradictions", so to speak. Some poems reflect my overwhelming joy and my view of life as a blessing. Others show the deep pain I can feel while coping with the many roles I play in my life in a brutally honest way. Writing is an outlet for me, so when I feel like the world is crushing me and I am slowly going insane, that pain I feel comes out in my writing. My hope for this book is that my readers will feel seen and understood, knowing that it's okay to fall apart sometimes and that you have the power to pull yourself back up every time.
