Purpose in the Pain

Santana, Angela: - "Angela Santana turned her darkest chapters into a beacon of hope. As a drug and alcohol counselor in Portland, she doesn't just understand addition recover -- she's lived it. Her own journey through addiction taught her that rock bottom can become a foundation. Between counseling sessions in Portland's rain-soaked neighborhoods, Angela writes, creates are, and somehow manages to wrangle her busy household. She's raised four kids (three boys and a girl), and these days, nothing makes her smile quite like her grandson's visits. You might find her deep in psychology textbooks as she pursues her degree or leading group sessions, but her true gift lies in seeing past the struggles to the strength within. Her church community knows her as the woman who believes in second changes. Her clients know her as the counselor who's been there. Her family knows her as the mom who never gave up. Angela's story isn't just about getting clean - it's about getting real. And in her world, every broken piece can become part of something beautiful."
