Quetzals Eat Pretzels

Dave and his twin brother, Steve, were identical twins. Dave was born 10 minutes before Steve, but only because he was pushier.

Both became children's doctors. Dave was a Professor of Infectious Diseases in Children, while Steve became a Child Psychiatrist.

Dave and his family moved to Australia, where he did brave work helping refugees. The photograph was taken in Australia, two months before Dave died of cancer.

Even when he was very ill, Dave wrote most of this book. He loved birds, and Steve created the illustrations.

This is the fourth and final book they worked on together.
