Sisters: A Promise Kept

"Sisters: A Promise Kept" is inspired by the lives of three sisters- Gertrude, Shirley, and Sarah- and their shared experiences, battles, and TRIUMPHS in the face of being diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It takes place during the late 80's in the small town of Penllyn, Pennsylvania; where many wonderfully created memories of sisterhood, bonding, secret sharing, and heartbreaks occurred, but is now the center of turmoil. As mama lies quietly in her bed awaiting death, the house is filled with angst and prayer, and the intertwined and strained relationship of the sisters is slowly revealed.

As the story unfolds, the complex dynamics of life are exposed. Internal demons arise as each sister comes face to face with the ever present enemy-Cancer. Tensions mount as cracks in the family's foundation test each sister's personal faith.
