Abandoned by my family and left behind in my own personal hell, I know there is nothing out there for me beyond the remote, isolated trailer park I grew up in. Nothing but the occasional solace I find at the old, run-down truck stop that sits mostly empty off the deserted stretch of highway a few miles from here.

Could that very truck stop hold my ticket out?

Or is the devil I know better than one that I don't?
