In November, 2014, musician and Akron native Marc Lee Shannon believed for the first time that he could have a better life. Broken, beaten, and lost from his struggle with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health Issues (MI), he was given a second chance through the healing of medical treatment, community, and music.
