Spiritual Beef Broth in a CUP: 90 Sustaining Devotions for the Christian Under Pressure

Are you feeling overwhelmed and a little empty?

There is something warm and comforting about a steaming bowl of beef stew that has been slow-simmered with savory spices and fresh herbs. The aroma alone seems to bring strength to our bones and warms our soul. Delicious nutrients in liquid form are easily digested to provide immediate nourishment, and they are a pleasure to savor.

This type of nourishment for our spirits is especially vital when we face the deep trials in our lives.

• Are your circumstances more like a bowl of noxious substance, brewed by a cook you didn't hire?

• Do you find yourself staring absently at the life that you're faced with and wonder if there is more to life or whether this one is worth living?
