States of Solidarity: How to Build a Society
Barbara Prainsack, Professor of Political Science, University of Vienna Barbara Prainsack is Professor of Political Science at the University of Vienna, where she directs the Centre for the Study of Contemporary Solidarity (CeSCoS). Her research focuses on the social, ethical, and regulatory dimensions of data-driven practices in digital societies, and on institutions and practices of solidarity, especially in health and medicine. She holds honorary positions at the University of Sydney and the University of Oxford. Barbara is also an active policy advisor, currently serving as Chair of the European Group on Ethics in Science and New Technologies, which advises the European Commission.
