Tearing Stripes off Zebras is an anthology of new literary writing by women involved with the Women's Education Bureau (WEB) writers' group. Established in the late eighties, WEB was led by poet Eavan Boland who served as the creative director and was committed to developing, mentoring, and promoting Irish women writers.
