This book was a collection of poems I started writing in high school about real life events and situations I had been faced with. It was easier for me to write than to cope with it and just deal with the situation. It allowed me to see the picture for more than what it was and sometimes it allowed me to control my feelings and think before reacting. These poems truly inspired me and helped me to become the woman I am today and my hope is that it will help someone else along the way as well.
