Heather Lewandowski lives in Naperville, Illinois, with her husband, their two children and their chocolate lab, Roxy. She is the daughter of renowned illustrator, Caron Turk. Heather hoped to collaborate on The Best Summer Day with her mother, but sadly, Caron lost her battle with cancer in 2019. Now, along with her daughter and Caron's granddaughter, Ava, this book has come to life with Caron's, Heather's and Ava's illustrations. We hope you will share in our celebration of Caron Turk's legacy (Jeremiah 29:11) with love for our country and its flag.
