Russell, Mary Colleen: - I graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelo's Degree in Science in Nursing. I received my Master's Degree in Nursing from Duke University. I have cared for children in a variety of settings throughout my career: hospitals, schools, and in their homes. Sensory processing disorder (SPD) presents daily challenges for children. At the time of my retirement, I had been a psychiatric nursing instructor for 15 years at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC, where I supervised nursing students on all inpatient units, including child and adolescent psychiatric units.
