The Complicit Lens: Us Media Coverage of Israel's Genocide in Gaza

Long time educator and author, Robin Andersen began writing about the media coverage of war as a graduate student. Her work on the topic led to an award-winning book titled, A Century of Media, A Century of War in 2006. She received her Ph.D. at the University of California, Irvine. Her writings appear in numerous book chapters and journal articles, and she is the author of Consumer Culture and TV Programming (1995) and co-editor of Critical Studies in Media Commercialism (2000). She has focused on the media coverage of Israel's occupation of Palestinian since the Israeli murder of Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.
