Vassallo, Helen: - Helen Vassallo is Senior Lecturer in French at the University of Exeter, UK. Her primary research interests are in autobiography, illness narratives, and legacies of conflict. She leads an ongoing research project, Translating Women. Launched in 2018, the project both investigates and raises public awareness of broad issues relating to the representation of female-authored books in the UK.
