The Dragon Who Lost His Spark

Megan Holden is a stay-at-home mum to four children. She lives with her family in Hamilton, New Zealand. She attended Canterbury University, New Zealand, and obtained a bachelor's degree in science, majoring in psychology, and a graduate diploma in primary teaching and learning. As a parent, Megan constantly researches and practises a range of parenting techniques. She is passionate about helping young children develop emotional intelligence. Believing it is important for children to be equipped with tools and strategies that support their social and emotional wellbeing, Megan aims to introduce these ideas through her writing.

In 2023, Megan began her writing journey as a children's author, inspired by her deep interest in education, child development, emotional intelligence, and her love for language. The Dragon Who Lost His Spark was Megan's first children's book. It has given her so much pleasure in writing that it has paved the way for many others to follow.
