The Hummingbird

In the heart of sun-scorched Tucson, Sam Diloretis's bitter custody battle becomes the least of his worries when the unthinkable happens: a mysterious contamination transforms ordinary people into bloodthirsty vampiric monsters. In the midst of horror and darkness, Sam's only priority becomes protecting his five-year-old son Benny from a world descending into a living nightmare.

An emergency broadcast informs potential survivors that the U S Government has set up a refuge in Sedona and, faced with no other choice, Sam makes the courageous decision to journey 250 miles on foot across the harsh and unforgiving Sonoran Desert with Benny.

Guided by mysterious appearances of hummingbirds -- messages from his deceased grandmother -- Sam must summon extraordinary courage to keep his son alive in this heart-pounding tale of parental devotion in the face of supernatural horror.
