I truly believe this book is going to change the world. I recently recommended it to a friend when I was starting it again for the third time. I was slightly worried because she's extremely religious and I'm extremely atheist. Although she and I have wildly different perspectives, we both gained a level of spirituality that we didn't have before. That's truly what I think makes this book so enlightening. No matter which perspective you're reading it from (science, religion, or completely neutral) and no matter where you're at on your journey to becoming a better person, it has something for you.

This is an extraordinary book, and deserves to be as widely read as Bach's "Illusions" or Pirsig's "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance". It also reminds me of Paulo Coelho's best book "The Pilgrimage", but is less artificial or contrived.

The book took me on a trip I hadn't been on since Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. This however is a book for today's economic and cultural climate. And as both a book and a character, Jeff is quite approachable and uniquely alluring.
