The Lost Indian

This is not an ordinary story, but rather a tale of inspiration, perseverance, and determination. Jimit Kapedia is a businessman, entrepreneur, caretaker, and a fun-loving individual, whose story will make you fall in love with the idea that nothing is impossible. Jimit takes you on his personal journey from being born and raised in Mumbai, India, in a middle-class family environment struggling to make ends meet, to emigrating to the United States following the American Dream and the expectations that came with it.

He shares with you all of the puzzle pieces that were necessary to make his dream a reality. Jimit opens his heart and pulls back the curtain to share his upbringing, first love story, personal trials, and all of the challenges it has taken him to be the person he is today. The unexpected blows he received resulted in learning to value what matters most, family! Arriving in America as an immigrant who didn't know the language, the culture, the currency, or the way of life in the states did not detain him from overcoming any and every obstacle that could stop him in his tracks. He shifted from being taken care of by his parents, to now being the main caretaker in their life. He is the evidence that whatever passion dwells in your heart you can use it in every aspect of your life.

Jimit's professional background and love of music, people and drama has been the steppingstone for his Twisted Entrepreneurship - a non-label, judgement free zone that welcomes people from all walks of life. Many call The Twisted Rooster their safe place and Jimit Kapadia is a local hero giving people a place where their talents, gifts and love for the arts can be expressed and appreciated. You will laugh, shed a tear or two and find inspiration within the pages of this story. Live, laugh and #loveus as Jimit would say.
