The Pardon

A Soviet officer in Cuba during the Cold War. A crash strands him in America. A former ally turns his worst enemy. Can he survive and find a way home?

"Sometimes a book will haunt you after reading it. THE PARDON is that kind of book."

Steve BROWN, Key Life - broadcaster, seminary professor, author

SUSPENSEFUL - THOUGHT-PROVOKING - CONSEQUENTIAL ... At the height of the Cold War, a plane crash strands a Soviet officer stationed in America. Living among those he once thought to be the enemy, he transforms into the capitalist he once fought against. His life is entangled with a merciless Cuban prosecutor out for revenge. Both men are torn between ideologies, save for one: their ever-hardening rejection of God.

THE PARDON is filled with action and uncompromised Christian truth, the story contrasts freedom and capitalism with the devastating realities of communism. The plot explores the consequences of human choices, spinning an intricate web of envy, treachery, life and death, and how God's search for man transcends all political and geographic boundaries.

"A masterful blend of fact, fiction, and faith - of history and a lesson for younger people of what Cuba's 'paradise' and the true nature of Communism looks like."

Cal THOMAS, Syndicated Columnist

"THE PARDON is a real 'page-turner, ' complete with twists and turns in the plot that makes it a rollicking good read!"

J.D. HAYWORTH, Member of Congress, 1995-2007
