Butte, also known as the richest hill on earth, provided a home for the stray dog for over 17 years. No one knows exactly where he came from or how he lived in such a place. The Auditor kept his distance from people. However, many people took care of him over the years, ensuring he had food and water every night. He would vanish for weeks only to appear again, surprising everyone. This book is dedicated to the kind people of Butte and the dog that kept them always guessing. Today, you can view a statue of the canine in the town of Butte. The statues make us remember that resilience and kindness go a far way.
