Author Lou Vickery, is descendant of the Moniac family, one of the founding families of the the Poarch Band of Creek Indians. Lou grew up in Atmore, Alabama were the Poarch reservation is located. Lou is hosts of Lou In The Morning, a talk radio show on WPFL FM 105.1, and is a weekly sports contributor on the nationally-syndicated show, America's Morning News. Lou is a former professional baseball player, and who later spent 29 years in a training and development capacity. He is also the author of twelve other books.
