The Rock

Daws, Robert: - As an actor, Robert has appeared in leading roles in a number of award-winning and long-running British television series, including Jeeves and Wooster, Casualty, The House of Eliott and Richard Harris's Outside Edge, for which he was nominated best actor in the British Comedy awards. Other series in which he has played major roles include John Sullivan's Roger, Roger and Rock and Chips, Holby City, Doc Martin, New Tricks, Midsomer Murders, The Royal, Death in Paradise, Father Brown and Agatha Raisin. He has most recently appeared as Dr Thomas Choake in Poldark for the BBC and as the psychotic drugs baron Shank, in Sky's black comedy Sick Note. Killing Rock is the third novel in his Rock crime series featuring DS Tamara Sullivan and DCI Gus Broderick of the Royal Gibraltar Police. He lives in Ampthill, Bedfordshire with his wife, actress Amy Robbins and two daughters.
