The Science of Right

Kant, Immanual: - Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) was a German philosopher whose work transformed modern philosophy. A central figure of the Enlightenment, Kant developed a systematic approach to ethics, metaphysics, and epistemology that continues to shape philosophical thought. His major works-including Critique of Pure Reason, Critique of Practical Reason, and The Metaphysics of Morals-introduced concepts such as the categorical imperative and the primacy of rational moral law. Kant's writings on ethics, politics, and law remain foundational to modern discussions of freedom, rights, and moral responsibility.
