The Shattered Faberge Egg: Special Edition

The Shattered Faberge Egg is a novel inspired by a true story about betrayal, cruelty and a destructive secret that swirls around the wealthy Burnett family. All of which if exposed could destroy the family and their elite social status. The story begins when Kate, a beautiful, bright, fun-loving young woman, meets Ken Burnett, son of the powerful Forrest Burnett.

During their courtship, Ken was the perfect gentleman and pursued a naïve Kate. Once the engagement was announced, Ken started to become distant and withdrawn from Kate and continued to get worse after marriage. Kate's seemingly envied lifestyle crumbles as she journeys to uncover the truth about their adopted son Logan.

The mysterious dark past threatens to destroy the entire Burnett family. As Kate investigates, she begins to unmask the nightmare behind an unimaginable cover up. This puts her in unforeseen danger as secrets become exposed for all to see. While Kate continues to discover unconscionable deceit and her life remains uncontrollable, she grows tired of living in fear and wonders how she will ever break free and have a normal life.
