The Stinky Little Skunk

Chavez, Margie: - ‪Margie worked in early-child development for twenty-five years. She taught Pre-K and worked with many children from kindergarten through twelve years of age.‬‪One day she was reading to the children and noticed that there was a lot of bullying and making fun of each other. As she thought about how she could stop the bullying and name-calling, a story popped into her head. She told this story to the children, which helped them understand how hurtful the bullying and name-calling was. Margie went home and put the story on paper, and eventually turned it into this book! She hopes it will help children get along with others who might look, dress, talk or be different from themselves. ‬‪Margie was born in Salida, Colorado. She has lived most of her life in New Mexico, also known as the Land of Enchantment. ‬
