Trollope, Anthony: - Anthony Trollope, an English novelist, was born in London, England, on April 24, 1815, and died on December 6, 1882. His popular success kept the nature and scope of his intellectual merit a secret until many years after his passing. His best-known and most beloved works are a series of novels set in the fictional English county of Barsetshire, but he also produced compelling novels about political life and studies with deep psychological insight.
