Whitney, Que Tran: - Que Tran Whitney is a queer, Vietnamese mixed-race artist from the Bay Area, and this is the first children's book they've had the honor of illustrating. They have artist credits in a few award-winning animated short films such as "Reyna" (2022); and they love exploring mixed-race, Asian, & LGBTQIA+ themes in their work. When Que's not drawing, she loves reading, watching scary movies, and eating lots and lots of good food with her partner and horde of dogs
